Description of the project

In May 2014, PCR has been subcontracted by Arcadis for the assistance of a River Masterplan in Colombia. This project is the result of the transition program by RVO and an agreement between the Dutch and Colombian Government. The main goal of the project is to improve inland water transport in Colombia in all his facets. Recommendations on the institutional settings and identify infrastructural river projects including the financing are the main tasks for the Arcadis and PCR. The recommendations in this masterplan will eventually be incorporated in the Colombian Development Plans for the following 5 years.
