Description of the project
With increasing cargo volumes, the need for a sea port in the area of Espiritu Santo (Brazil) is becoming more urgent and therefore PoC wished to revive the Porto Central project. In 2013-2017 a masterplan was developed for this greenfield port.
PCR was asked to review the masterplan, update it and draft recommendations on actions to be taken. In particular, a complete revision of the first phase was made, where the focus was on oil products. Other tasks included improving feasibility, restructuring of the project and developing a business case for the terminals.
