Port Consultants Rotterdam (PCR) and its Greek partner Doxiadis have won a 2 year contract to act as technical and commercial advisors for the privatization of 4 Greek ports: Igoumenitsa, Alexandroupolis, Volos and Heraklion.

The new government has decided to pursue a sale of shares transaction for the 4 ports, as was done successfully with Piraeus and Thessaloniki in the past.

The tenders for the first two ports are expected to be launched this summer. PCR will assess the development potential of the ports, draft the respective master plans and assist in the negotiations to complete the sale of shares.
